It’s considered taboo to toast with an empty glass.
But you won’t have to worry about any empty glasses with all the upcoming beer and wine related events coming to the surrounding communities.
Trivia Night event at the Sunny Pint in Wildwood
Wind down during the middle the week at The Sunny Pint in Wildwood, attending the taproom’s weekly Wednesday Night Trivia — from 6 to 8 p.m. — lead by Arcane Knowledge Trivia.
Jump into the free game night and test your knowledge with the prize of a Sunny Pint Gift Card up for grabs for the brainiest patron.
Topics for Wednesday Night Trivia range from Walt Disney to Hurricanes, music of the 80s to sports, and much more.
“The atmosphere is light and (a lot of) fun,” Simone Waddell, co-owner of The Sunny Pint, said.
“When the questions get hard everyone dives in and works on the questions, which can make the room quiet until it is time to turn those questions in. But the rest of the time the room is buzzing.”
Friendly competitors are also able to grab a bite to eat or drink before the event at The Sunny Pint, 4110 E. SR 44, Wildwood.
“Our guests enjoy the trivia immensely. They have commented that it is one of the best-run games they have attended,” Waddell said. “And they keep coming back to play every week.”

Learn New Information At Beer and Wine School with Ednas’ On The Green
Sample and learn about the various beers from different brewery representatives during Beer School at Ednas’ On The Green, 5227 Marsh Bend Trail, The Villages.
Because of the school’s popularity, all the current sessions are booked through the end of the year. But hopeful “students” will be able to get a jump on securing their spot for the next set of classes beginning in January when Ednas’ open registration soon.
During the classes, students learn from a brewery representative about the various types of beer. For those who prefer the fruity flavors of wine, they can enjoy the Wine School at Ednas’ for a similar experience.
The class is presented with a casual style, but it sets the students up to recognize the key characteristics in quality wines and what they would pair best with.
During the sessions, guests do blind tastes of four different wines before discussion about the wines continues.
There are also opportunities to learn about how to approach tasting wine, what the various colors of wine mean, how to differentiate between the different aromas, and more.
To accompany and enhance the wines, there will be cheese and charcuterie boards provided, and guests are encouraged to take notes so they can take home some of the knowledge gained during the session.
When the next class registrations open, the fee to participate is $35 per person.
