Families received a unique autumn experience along Lake Griffin this past weekend as Warren Willis United Methodist Camp and Conference Center hosted its “Family Camp Weekend” event Oct. 18-20.
During the first day of camp, five families traveled from across Florida, including St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Orlando to bond together in nature while getting closer to God at the center, 4990 Picciola Road, Fruitland Park.
“The camp offers ways for families to come together and build connections with one another while also becoming closer to God,” said Laura Butler, communication and marketing director for the Warren Willis United Methodist Camp and Conference Center.
