While playing a brain-boosting game of bingo, guests were provided tips for keeping the brain fresh and healthy.
The activity was part of a free Lunch and Learn event on Wednesday that was hosted by Charter Research, a medical research center with locations in The Villages and across Central Florida. It was held at the Candelaria Eatery and Cafe, 4059 Thomas St. unit A01 in Oxford.
“As people age, all areas of the body, including the brain, undergo changes,” said Sarah Hollingshead, patient engagement director at Charter Research. “Studies indicate that individuals can take certain actions as they age to maintain optimal brain health and independence for as long as possible.”
