As a recently retired teacher, Alexis Capozzoli wants to continue to help improve the life of local students.
Capozzoli, of the Village of Ashland, spent part of her summer working to help improve Oak Park Middle School, a middle school in Leesburg. She along with other community members helped to revamp the teachers’ lounge and the media center. She hopes the improvement will create a calm space for both students and staff.
